Computer Servicing (formerly PC Health Check):

A computer service is the ideal way to ensure your computer is running smoothly.

Depending on the type of user, a basic health check should be performed every 3 months and a full exhaustive health check annually. These are only guides and we offer packages at reduced rates to cover full annual health checks. An engineer will visit your home or business and will perform the following:

    * Ensure anti virus software is up to date.
    * install anti virus software if none present.
    * Check or install anti-spyware software.
    * Check and install critical windows updates.
    * Remove temporary files.
    * Analyse and defragment hard drives.
    * Ensure the latest drivers are installed for major components.
    * Internally inspect your computer for dust & excess debris.

All these items will be checked and a report issued upon request. More in depth health checks can be performed including:

    * full memory test analysis.
    * Disk sector checking.
    * PSU check.
    * Full internal valet.
    * Check and replenish CPU thermal compound.
    * Internal airflow inspection and fan addition/replacement if necessary.
    * Check firewall effectiveness against real (simulated) attacks.

The computer Service is a all labour inclusive product, if you require a hardware upgrade, software installation or any other labour intensive task, this will be completed within the same fixed price.

Note: We have changed the name of this product from a Health Check to a PC/Computer Service. The reason is than many customers were comparing this to similarly named products from other companies that performed a health check, produced a report of faults and then offered a resolution at an additional cost. Our product (Computer Service) includes all labour costs for any repair. No additional costs will be applied other than pre-arranged hardware costs.

While you may feel Norton Anti Virus or other packages may be better as they are more 'well know', always call us for free advice as we continually respond to customers with problems with other packages that do not perform as well as they claim.

Peripherals & Supplies:

We can supply and install any peripheral for your computer, delivered to your door and installed and tested in your home.

No need to worry about dead on arrival items as we can test items before delivery or get a replacement without you needing to leave your home.

We can also supply a range of consumables (paper, ink, toner etc) .

Training:

Having all this equipment may be a little daunting at first so we are able to offer training in your home with no limit to the number of your family wanting to learn. This can be an informal discussion to answer any questions you have or a planned course to your exact requirements.

We are also able to offer book keeping training using Sage accounts in your home or business.

New & Used Computers:

We can supply you with new or used computer systems depending on your needs.

We generally supply branded systems with a 3 year warranty which renowned for their reliability and price. With all new and used systems we supply, we back the manufacturers warranty with our own cover giving you a first point of contact for support taking the hassle out resolving any issues.

On all new systems, you will always receive a full manufacturer’s warranty.

Internet:

We can supply and configure a broadband package to suit your budget and online requirements or configure your existing package for you.

We only use quality service providers and advise customers not to sign up for a 12 month contract with providers who tempt you into a package based on special deals, at least call us first for FREE advice to avoid the pitfalls which can be more costly in the long term and often have poor support and reliability.

Always check the small print when signing up to any ISP, some have extremely high call costs for telephone support (?1.50 per min), a lot of ISP's use international call centre’s, some use staff with limited knowledge resulting in long frustrating call times, some block specific ports (stopping P2P sharing, Limewire, bittorrent etc), some perform packet shaping (limiting and low prioritizing such things as P2P sharing, Limewire and bittorrent). Most ISP's small print reserve the right to implement changes including the above at any time during your contract without your consent. Not good if you sign up for 12 or 18 months.

General Repairs:

Danoli Solutions Ltd. have a track record that is second to none for repairing computers.

Many other businesses do not spend the time attempting to repair a software fault, they simply inform the customer that a full re-installation of the operating system is the only fix. While this has its benefits, we fully explain the pro's and con's of both methods which wildly differ from system to system.

Most software faults are fixable and we strive to fix them, closely monitoring computer performance throughout the process. Once repaired, your machine will be in the same condition as it was before the fault occurred, in most cases performing much faster.

A full re-installation of the operating system will usually give maximum stability back to your operating system but you must be aware that almost ALL your previous applications will be lost in the process meaning many hours, days or even weeks of time installing and reconfiguring those applications and data you have now lost. A lot of applications may have even been pre-installed on your machine leaving you without any method of re-installing them without purchasing the software again. Applications cannot be backed up and restored so must be re-installed from the original media. All too often, other businesses do not backup your data leaving the onus on you (most customers do not perform suitable backups or are unaware how to do such backups) leaving you with lost data, important documents, email and contacts and precious family photographs.

Whenever we perform a full re-installation we always create a full image backup of your machine and store it securely encrypted on our resilient, highly secure servers for a minimum of 1 month from the installation date (unless otherwise agreed).
